New NIOSH Website
The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) has a new Noise and Occupational Hearing Loss Website. This is a combination of the former NIOSH Noise and Hearing Loss Prevention website and the NIOSH Occupational Hearing Loss Surveillance website: https://www.cdc.gov/niosh/topics/noise/default.html. This site is much more user-friendly and integrated.

Guidance for how to prevent worker hearing loss, from both noise and ototoxic chemical exposures, is now spelled out and easy to read. To reach the surveillance statistics which were formerly at a separate website, there is a button at the bottom of the new site’s main page, or can be reached here: https://www.cdc.gov/niosh/topics/noise/surveillance.html.
