NHCA Outstanding Lecture AwardEstablished in 1990, the Outstanding Lecture Award (OLA) is bestowed for the best presentation at the annual NHCA conference. The first recipients were Mead Killion and Larry Royster. The purpose of the award is to provide additional incentive to speakers to deliver high‑quality, interesting, informative, and polished lectures. Each author who agrees to present at the annual meeting will be notified of the award and the requirements for earning it. All lecture presenters are eligible except for the following: the Friday luncheon speaker, the Keynote speaker, the Gasaway lecturer, any seminar/short course instructor, any on a forum and/or panel, the conference Program Chair, and the Program Chair-Elect. The OLA winner will be selected by electronic ballot (or by available forms if electronic voting is not feasible). All conference attendees who are registered for the entire conference are eligible to vote. The conference Program Chair has the responsibility for coordinating the selection of the award and presentation of this award. The OLA recipient of the award will receive a check for $250.00 and a certificate acknowledging the achievement within one month of the tabulation of votes, and announcement of the award in the issue of Spectrum immediately subsequent to the meeting. The recipient will also be announced at the subsequent conference and, if present, she/he will be acknowledged. Recipients:
